Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here

Step into the delightful adventures of Debra I. Thomas, author of three charming children’s books, including Bazil Goes to School.

Books

Bazil Goes to School

Bazil is a friendly pet Bearded Dragon who loves his owner and friend Julian so much!

His day-to-day routine is full of eating his favorite foods, basting on his big rock under his warm sunlamp in his glass cage where he lives, and spending time with Julian. Bazil gets very lonely when Julian must go to school. He usually gets through the day with his normal daily activities and as soon as Julian gets home from school, Bazil gets to be with Julian! Julian takes Bazil around the house while he holds him, but Bazil never goes outside except to the Vet for his checkups.

I Made It Home

When Aubrey’s plans for getting home suddenly change, an unexpected adventure teaches her that courage and kindness can light the way.

On the first day of first grade, Aubrey is excited to see her friends and start a new adventure at school. But when plans change, and she must find her way home, Aubrey suddenly feels nervous and unsure.

Luckily, she isn’t alone.

Coming Soon

My next book is a new adventure for Bazil, which introduces Julian’s sister, her pet hamster, and their grandma’s cat.

The future book is a Halloween book for children about Karmen’s haunted trail, which engages all the characters from my books.

The third book is called Darwin, about a big Great Dane and his adventure.

These are all my upcoming books for the next year.
